Geraldine House is an 18th century, granite, fishing and shooting lodge surrounded by its own mature gardens and approached by a glorious tree-studded avenue. Geraldine House offers a magnificent setting for visitors providing the perfect location for those in need of a restful break or for the sports enthusiast. Conveniently located within one hour of Rosslare Harbour, 90 minutes of Dublin and 45 minutes from the medieval city of Kilkenny, Geraldine House provides an ideal touring base for the entire South-East and midlands of Ireland. There are three spacious guest bedrooms offering private bathroom, T.V., hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities.

Whether you wish to walk a mountain, stroll on undisturbed country lanes, tee-off on some of the finest championship golf courses, freewheel on quiet roads or simply fish the rich waters of the River Slaney you will find the ideal base here.
Geraldine House is within easy driving distance of some of the finest championship courses in the country. Visitors have a marvellous variety of courses to choose from with Mount Wolseley, Carlow, Kilkea Castle, Killerig Castle, Mount Juliet, Coolattin and Borris all within a 30 minute drive. The novice is also well catered for with driving ranges and par 3’s in the immediate area. Tee-off times can be arranged upon request.
Private fishing on the banks of the River Slaney adds to the attraction of your stay with rods and nets provided for clients use. Unrivalled beauty spots such as Aghade Bridge, located closeby, compliment the pleasure of the very fine catches of salmon and brown trout regularly taken from the river.
Its central location to no less than three national way marked routes, the Barrow, South Leinster and Wicklow Ways provides ideal opportunities for the walking enthusiast. Maps are provided for guest use.
